Starting Point & Challenges

Before implementing Odoo, Energie 360 managed over 5,000 subscriptions across several independent systems, such as Orgamax and Fakturia, resulting in a complex, heterogeneous, and decentralized system landscape. This led to a lack of transparency, poor communication between systems, and high manual effort for recurring processes—causing errors and inefficiencies. The goal was therefore to consolidate all relevant areas, including inventory, accounting, and subscription management, into a single central system.

The decision was made to implement Odoo with openfellas as the experienced partner, handling the entire process from consulting and implementation to go-live. By using standardized interfaces—including IDS connections to supplier shops such as Würth, Sonnepar, Reca, and others—process automation and transparency were significantly improved. Orders can now be efficiently initiated directly from Odoo and managed and monitored centrally and transparently.

During the project, over 5,000 existing subscriptions were migrated from legacy systems into Odoo. At the same time, the system went live, including processes and workflows tailored specifically to Energie 360. A key focus was on a standard-compliant implementation to ensure a fast and stable rollout. Another highlight was the successful integration of the IDS interface with supplier webshops, allowing Energie360 to place orders directly from various webshops, which are automatically created as purchase orders in Odoo.
