This is how the standard return management process looks like
Following the standard process in return management, the products that are being sent back, are received, entered into the system and, subsequently, released again for sale. In odoo, this standard re-entry of articles actually works quite well. However, this is only feasible if the products come back in perfect condition, i.e. unopened, unused, without stains or damage. Unfortunately, the goods that are sent back usually have been opened and used, are full of stains and more or less damaged, since the right of revocation allows customers to return even less than pristine goods. These goods cannot, of course, be re-offered for sale in this condition. They have to be recycled in some form or other and, consequently, have to be stored separately. Intermediate steps, such as re-processing, re-finishing or re-assembling procedures are called for, the corresponding accounts have to be credited and/or debited and the re-dispatch of replacement products has to be managed. All this requires a comprehensive and effective solution.
