Openfellas say that the installation of an ERP System will take three months at a minimum. A CRM project will take even longer if you want to come up with something reasonable – and that is, after all, the whole purpose of such a project. Or should be, anyway!
So, why does it take that long? Well, because there are quite a few basic steps that are essential, indispensable and simply not negotiable. And they require time. Time the partner needs for setting up the system and time the customer needs for internal decision and approval procedures.
We are usually scheduling approximately 5 days for the technical design. Once it is drafted, the design will be sent to the customer for validation and ultimately for the final decision whether he wants to work with us or with another partner. This step will take another five to ten days, depending on how long the customer needs for his internal processes.
